LA BOQUERÍA
Rambla 91 (Barrio Gótico)
open monday to saturday 8:00 - 20:30h
The BOQUERÍA market directly on the Ramblas is one of Barcelonas most important sights and hundreds of tourists visit the traditional fresh food market every day. The brilliant colours of fruits and veggies from all over the world, the penetrant smell of the fish section with sea food you may have never seen before in your live and the delicious looks of the freshly prepared tapas are extremely interesting not only for tourists. A lot of locals shop in the BOQUERÍA because of the variety and the competitive prices.
You may not leave the BOQUERÍA without trying one of the fresh fruit juices. If you avoid the first row and go deeper into the maze you find the same juices for 1,00€ each.

Hi, my name is Kristin.
I'm from Germany but for over ten years I have been living, working and eating in Barcelona. Receiving a lot of friends from all over the world I always have been asked for references and recommendations where to enjoy a good meal or having a drink in the city.
